Disregarding the risks, she turned her vehicle the wrong way on Bart Street, a one-way westbound road and off-ramp from Interstate 264 in Norfolk, Virginia.As Goodwin drove eastbound through the Downtown Tunnel, her vehicle collided head-on with that of Shelby Riddick-Walker, a beloved mentor and community leader in the local transgender community. The impact was devastating, and Riddick-Walker tragically lost her life at the scene.
