Welcome Aboard: Center ISD Introduces New Athletic Director and Head Football Coach

The Center Independent School District (CISD) is thrilled to introduce Coach Nick Brown as the new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. The community eagerly anticipates the arrival of Coach Brown, who brings with him a wealth of experience and a passion for building excellence in sports and education. Alongside his wife Amber and their children, the Browns are ready to immerse themselves into the Roughrider community.

Coach Brown's journey in education and coaching spans nearly two decades, during which he has held various leadership roles. Prior to joining CISD, he served as the Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Football Coach at Aubrey ISD for nine years. His career also includes stints at Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, Callisburg High School, and Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School in Fort Worth. He began his coaching career at Southern Nazarene University, where he was an assistant coach from 2007 to 2010. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Coach Brown has been deeply involved in teaching and student development, having led the Social Studies Department and taught Advanced Placement courses at both Aubrey and Bryan Adams High Schools.

The Roughrider community is poised for growth and success under Coach Brown's leadership. His commitment to fostering a strong athletic program and his dedication to students' well-being will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact. Dr. Morris, the district's leader, expressed confidence in Coach Brown's ability to thrive in this role, noting that his approachability and genuine care for others will be invaluable assets.
