PENSACOLA, Fla. - A distressing reality emerges as over one thousand children in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties find themselves without a proper bed to sleep in tonight. This critical need is brought to light by the non-profit group Sleep in Heavenly Peace. On Saturday, an event was held in Milton to build beds for these children. The Oops Alley Bowling Center and Bills backers of Pensacola took the initiative and hosted this significant event. Dozens of volunteers came forward and dedicated their time to build 20 beds. Their unwavering mission is to ensure that no child has to endure the discomfort of sleeping on the floor. Chapter co-president Sean Barrington of Sleep in Heavenly Peace expressed gratitude, stating, "We couldn't achieve this without the collective help of everyone here today.
