The young driver of the car, identified as 26-year-old Luke Mathew Hershey from Hartford, Minnesota, was pronounced dead at the scene.According to the State Patrol's report, Hershey's car was traveling northbound on Highway 13, approximately 15 miles north of Albert Lea, when it collided with the southbound construction truck. The impact of the collision was severe, and despite the efforts of the first responders, Hershey could not be saved.
