Anchrum, in his fourth year with the Indians, led them to a robust 24-6 record before losing to Norcross in February. Wages, also in his fourth year at Lambert High School, achieved a strong 26-3 outcome with the Longhorns.
Griffin, managing the Lions for four years, finished with a 19-11 record despite being edged out by Newton earlier this year. Abney, concluding his seventh year at Walton High School, brought his team to the regional finals with a 22-6 record before succumbing to Pebblebrook. Washington, an experienced veteran in his thirteenth season at Pebblebrook High School, reached the state semifinals with a respectable 22-9 record.
