At Wheeler High School, after seven seasons at the helm, Thompson masterfully steered the Wildcats to a stellar record of 29-3, culminating in a championship victory over Norcross in March. Meanwhile, Pierce’s leadership propelled the Rams to a commendable 28-4 finish, reaching national quarterfinals before falling to Brennan (Texas).

Browner completed his second tenure at Newton High School with a solid 21-10 performance, showcasing growth under his guidance. Anchrum, in his fourth year with the Indians, led them to a robust 24-6 record before losing to Norcross in February. Wages, also in his fourth year at Lambert High School, achieved a strong 26-3 outcome with the Longhorns.

Griffin, managing the Lions for four years, finished with a 19-11 record despite being edged out by Newton earlier this year. Abney, concluding his seventh year at Walton High School, brought his team to the regional finals with a 22-6 record before succumbing to Pebblebrook. Washington, an experienced veteran in his thirteenth season at Pebblebrook High School, reached the state semifinals with a respectable 22-9 record.

The Blue Devils, meanwhile, posted a notable 19-12 record and advanced to the regional finals before losing to eventual champions Wheeler. Lastly, Dasinger celebrated his tenth season at Etowah High School, guiding the Eagles to a successful 23-7 run and a regional final appearance before facing Newton in late February.
