The accident occurred just before 6:40 AM at the intersection of Keene Road and Cleveland Street. According to local authorities, the young cyclist was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling south on Keene Road. The teenager was immediately rushed to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

"We saw the bicycle lying far ahead of the car," she said.
