The Washington College women's tennis team kicked off their fall season with a strong performance at the Battle of the Blue Ridge tournament, held at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center on the campus of Sweet Briar College. The Shorewomen's singles players delivered impressive results, with Soleil Namunyola leading the charge. Namunyola won two matches, defeating opponents from Guilford (4-0, 4-1) and Piedmont (4-1, 5-4 (10-6)).
