The Alabama Baseball Coaches Association (ALABCA) recognized two individuals with strong ties to Samford University for their outstanding achievements in the 2024 season. Tony David, the Bulldogs' head coach, was named the ALABCA Division I Head Coach of the Year, while former Samford ace Michael Ross received the organization's pitcher of the year honor.
