Revolutionizing Athletic Facilities at Saint John’s University

In the heart of Becker Park lies a remarkable addition to Saint John’s University: the baseball clubhouse. Situated adjacent to Haugen Field, this facility was inaugurated in February 2024. It features 51 individual lockers alongside six additional ones reserved for coaches, along with modern amenities like shower facilities, a satellite training room, laundry services, and a dedicated meeting area. Notably, the clubhouse also includes a rooftop deck offering stunning views of baseball games and serving as a pre-game gathering spot during fall football matches.

This transformative project owes much of its success to the leadership and generosity of the Becker family. Scott Becker, a former athlete at SJU and founder of Northstar Capital, played a pivotal role in both fundraising efforts and advocacy.
