Details of the Announcement

On the eve of the new racing season, Precision Racing LA made headlines by unveiling its plans for the 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. The spotlight shines on Ryan Eversley, a 22-year veteran of sports car racing, who returns to competitive action after a brief hiatus. During his time away from active competition, Eversley remained deeply involved in the motorsport world as a driving coach and co-host of "Dinner With Racers." His return to the track is complemented by the addition of Celso Neto, a young talent who secured the prestigious 2025 IMSA Diverse Driver Scholarship.

Eversley and Neto will pilot the sleek Nardo Grey #7 Audi RS 3 LMS TCR, one of two Audis that PRLA will enter in the championship. Eversley's extensive experience includes podium finishes in SRO GT4 America and mentoring young drivers in Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Cup North America. Neto, a 20-year-old Brazilian racer, brings valuable experience from Stock Car Brasil, NASCAR Brazil, and TCR South America, along with impressive performances in SRO TC America.

The second PRLA entry, the Ultra Blue #37 Audi, will be driven by Ron and Megan Tomlinson. Megan, who made history by scoring championship points in her TCR World Tour debut at Mid-Ohio, joins the team after notable achievements in the FEL Sports Car Championship Canada (SCCC). Her father Ron boasts a perfect record in the SCCC and has previously competed in the Michelin Pilot Challenge with TWOth Autosport. Together, they aim to bring the #37 Audi to the top of the podium.

Team Principal Mario Biundo expressed confidence in the lineup, highlighting the unique strengths each driver brings to the team. "We are thrilled to have such a talented and diverse group of drivers for the 2025 season," said Biundo. "Ryan, Celso, Megan, and Ron each bring something special to the table, and we are confident in their ability to deliver outstanding results."

From a journalist's perspective, this announcement marks a significant milestone for Precision Racing LA. The combination of seasoned veterans like Eversley and rising stars like Neto and the Tomlinsons creates a dynamic and competitive environment. It underscores the importance of diversity and mentorship in motorsports, setting a positive example for aspiring racers. The 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge promises to be an exhilarating season, with PRLA poised to make a strong impact on the racing world.
