Officers from the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) executed a specialized mission on Saturday evening aimed at stopping a gathering advertised under the names "Swing into Easter" and "PDX is Everyone." The operation yielded substantial results as officers conducted thorough checks throughout the night. A total of 37 traffic stops were carried out, leading to nine vehicles being towed and multiple arrests. Among those detained, seven individuals were arrested, while thirty-two traffic citations were issued. Notably, one vehicle involved in the incident has entered the criminal forfeiture process, highlighting the severity of penalties for such offenses. Furthermore, four firearms were confiscated during the mission, underscoring the dangerous nature of these gatherings.
