Prior to the crash, troopers had attempted to pull over the vehicle, but Cingle, whose listed address is "homeless," allegedly attempted a high-speed backing maneuver, crossing Fulton Road and slamming into the ice cream shop.After the crash, Cingle reportedly fled the scene on foot, but was apprehended shortly afterward by Canton police. He was booked into the Stark County Jail on several charges, including grand theft of a motor vehicle, failure to comply with a police officer, vandalism, operating a vehicle under the influence, driving under suspension, hit-and-run, and driving without taillights.
