An eagerly anticipated music festival is set to make its return this fall, bringing together a diverse array of talented artists. The Old Friends Reunion, scheduled for September 25-28 at Old Friends Farms near Prairie Grove, promises an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts. Among the performers announced are singer-songwriter Carsie Blanton, the energetic Fritz & Sons from Kansas City, and Joplin's dynamic group The Too’s. Joining them will be other remarkable acts such as The Creek Rocks, Raina Rose, Sad Daddy, Dylan Earl, and many more. This lineup reflects a mix of local talent and renowned musicians from across the nation.

The origins of this festival trace back to last year when it was first organized by local musicians Dana Louise and Noah Richmond. Initially held in May on their property near Prairie Grove, the event showcased not only exceptional regional artists but also those encountered during Dana and Noah's own tours. Beyond the captivating performances, attendees enjoyed a variety of attractions including culinary delights from food vendors, engaging games, primitive camping options, and numerous festivities spread across an expansive 80-acre site approximately 40 minutes from Fayetteville. To support the upcoming festival, a fundraiser featuring live music by Fritz & Sons, Garrett T. Capps, and NASA Country is planned for June 27 at Fenix Arts inside Miller Hall on Mount Sequoyah.

This festival embodies the spirit of community and creativity, fostering connections between artists and audiences alike. It exemplifies the power of music to unite people, celebrating both emerging and established talents. As additional artists are revealed closer to the event date, anticipation continues to grow. With three-day passes available for purchase at $150 through the official website, music lovers have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an enriching cultural experience that supports artistic expression and local initiatives.
