Over $6.6 million in grants has been allocated to support local food manufacturers and processors, aiming to enhance their operations while benefiting farmers and growers across the region. Two companies from Eastern North Carolina (ENC) are among the recipients, receiving funds that will facilitate critical upgrades and infrastructure improvements. The initiative seeks to bolster the use of locally sourced agricultural products, thereby reducing costs for farmers and creating new job opportunities within the state.

Empowering Local Food Manufacturers with Financial Support
