Alexis Boyce, a 20-year-old from Englishtown, Monmouth County, has turned herself in to authorities after a chaotic car meetup in Philadelphia last weekend. Boyce is facing multiple felony charges, including fleeing a police officer, riot, criminal conspiracy, and causing/risking a catastrophe, as well as several misdemeanors. According to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, a large group of vehicles, estimated to be between 50 and 200 cars, gathered for an illegal car meetup at a PepBoy's in Northeast Philadelphia. When police arrived on the scene, many of the drivers tried to flee, leading to a dangerous situation. In addition to the reckless driving and attempts to evade law enforcement, police also reported that some of the participants were wearing bizarre costumes. Investigators arrested a Pittsburgh man, Albert Woynar, who was allegedly attending the illegal meetup in what appeared to be either a sun or banana costume.
