The day began with the doubles matches, where the Tennessee Volunteers showcased their prowess. The UT duo of Alan Jesudason and Shunsuke Mitsui bested Middle Tennessee's Jakub Kroslak and Rostislav Halfinger 6-2, while the team of Jose Garcia and Lance Nisbet defeated the Blue Raiders' Kristian Thomas and Igor Mandou Berranger 6-4. Despite the early setbacks, the Blue Raiders remained determined to turn the tide in the singles matches.

In the singles competition, the Volunteers continued their dominance, securing straight-set victories in the first, second, fourth, and fifth seeded matchups.
