Achievements in both sports and academics were celebrated recently as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) unveiled its 2025 Tennis All-Academic Selections. The list honors a total of 70 student-athletes from eight institutions across the conference who excelled academically during the 2024-25 academic year. Morgan State University, among others, showcased strong representation with nine athletes recognized for their outstanding performance.

Eligibility criteria for this prestigious recognition included maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher for sophomore, junior, and senior students. Additionally, transfer students needed to have been enrolled at their current institution for at least one year. Among the honorees are several notable names from various universities such as Coppin State, Delaware State, Howard, Norfolk State, North Carolina Central, and South Carolina State, each contributing significantly to their respective teams' academic standing. These selections underscore the dedication these students exhibit both on and off the court.

Inspiring stories of perseverance and commitment emerge from the accomplishments of these young scholars. By balancing rigorous training schedules with demanding academic workloads, they exemplify what it means to be well-rounded individuals. Their success serves as a testament to the importance of fostering an environment where athletic talent can thrive alongside intellectual growth. This acknowledgment not only highlights individual achievements but also reinforces the value of education within collegiate sports programs.
