Preparing Students for Professional Careers

According to Matt Heinecke, the focus of the CoSA Instrumental Music Conservatory is to provide students with real-life experiences as professional musicians. "These small ensembles are a great opportunity for our students to hone their skills and gain invaluable experience," Heinecke explained. "To have this level of exposure and performance experience in high school is truly remarkable and will serve them well as they pursue their musical aspirations."

Celebrating the Growth of Young Artists

Heinecke, who has a long-standing relationship with many of the young artists, is thrilled to work with them once again. "I have had the privilege of teaching many of these students since they were in middle school, some as early as 4th grade," he shared. "It is incredibly rewarding to witness their growth and see them take on these new challenges. I'm excited to be back as the director of the CoSA music department and to help these talented individuals reach new heights."
