They played a structured game and moved the puck with precision. In this period, junior Will Murvich had a chance to connect on a rebound but just missed. It was a close call that showed the intensity of the game from the start.

The second period was a different story. Jeffers came out with extra intensity and quickly took command of the contest. Senior Captain Gavin Moore managed to net Kingsford's only goal, going coast to coast unassisted on a power play in the opening minutes. But then, the Jets erupted for three goals in less than four minutes.Seniors Cody Turner and Benton Rajala each scored twice for the Jets. Turner's goal tied the game at 1-1, and Rajala added the go-ahead marker. Turner and Rajala also added power play tallies in the third period, making it difficult for Kingsford to come back.
