As the summer season winds down, Home Depot is already setting its sights on the upcoming Halloween festivities with an innovative new product. Building on the success of its widely popular 12-foot skeleton, the company is unveiling the \"Ultra Skelly,\" a technologically advanced version designed to captivate and entertain. This smaller, yet more dynamic, animated figure promises to elevate holiday decorating with its interactive features and app-controlled functionalities.
The Ultra Skelly, standing at 6.5 feet, marks a significant upgrade from its larger, less animated counterpart. This new iteration boasts a range of sophisticated movements, including independent rotation of its upper torso and head, and an articulating right arm that moves vertically. Its facial features are brought to life with LCD-screen eyes that can display 18 distinct animations, from eerie cat eyes to mesmerizing swirling patterns. Furthermore, integrated LED lights illuminate its mouth and chest, adding to its spooky allure.
Beyond its visual effects, the Ultra Skelly incorporates advanced audio capabilities. It comes pre-loaded with five unique Halloween-themed phrases, synchronized with its animated mouth. For a more personalized touch, users can record up to thirty 30-second custom messages, complete with voice-altering effects. Additionally, the skeleton can be directly controlled via a mobile application through Bluetooth, allowing for real-time speech and interaction, perfect for surprising trick-or-treaters.
While the original colossal 12-foot Skelly will still be available for purchase starting August 4th at Home Depot stores, online, and through their app, the new Ultra Skelly offers a more compact yet feature-rich alternative. Priced at $279, it is slightly more affordable than the original $299 model. Home Depot is also expanding its animatronic Halloween collection with other exciting additions. These include 5-foot animated dog and cat skeletons with LCD eyes, an 8-foot animated troll equipped with a spiked club, and an impressive 8-foot motion-activated dragon featuring a glowing, color-changing chest. For those seeking an even more imposing display, a 15-foot animated scarecrow with flickering LED eyes and mouth will also be available. Rounding out the new offerings is a 6-foot animated bride of Frankenstein, joining last year’s 7-foot Frankenstein monster, both featuring multiple animated movements, LCD eyes, and pre-recorded phrases, ensuring a truly immersive Halloween experience.
This year's Halloween collection from Home Depot showcases a dedication to integrating advanced technology with festive decorations, offering consumers more interactive and customizable options to transform their homes into thrilling seasonal spectacles.
