Harbor City Church in Biloxi is making a significant impact through their Christmas tree sale. By participating in the ‘Buy a tree. Change a life.’ program, they are not only selling beautiful trees but also raising funds for two important local organizations.
Support a Cause with Every Christmas Tree Purchase
Tree Selection and Pricing
The church offers 150 trees for sale at 16121 Lorraine Road. Pastor Rod Wallace informs us that there is a wide variety of sizes and prices available. "We still have a lot of different sizes and different prices," he says. This allows customers to choose a tree that suits their needs and budget. There is a focus on making the prices accessible, with the aim of selling the trees. However, many people have shown generosity by giving over and above the set price. "Our prices are set to sell, but a lot of people have given over and above. We ask people to buy your tree for the price, but if you are able to give a little more, it allows us the opportunity to turn around and give even more," Wallace adds.Donation Recipients
All the proceeds from the tree sale will be donated to CASA of South Mississippi and Gulf Coast Community Ministries. These organizations play crucial roles in the community, providing support and assistance to those in need. By purchasing a tree from Harbor City Church, customers are directly contributing to these worthy causes. The impact of these donations is significant. They help to fund various programs and initiatives that make a difference in the lives of many. It's a way for the community to come together and support those who are less fortunate.Open Hours and Convenience
