As the Settlers' top singles seed, Treharne has found herself up against formidable opponents, including Sarah Zaniel, the top seed from Kings Park. As a senior, Treharne has also taken on a leadership role within the Southold/Greenport team. She has worked to motivate and support her younger teammates, many of whom are new to the sport. Treharne's enthusiasm for the game and her desire to share her experience with her peers have been instrumental in fostering a positive team dynamic and encouraging the growth of the program.Seeking Opportunities for Growth
Treharne's commitment to improvement extends beyond the court as well. She recently attended her first U.S. Open tournament, where she had the opportunity to observe the skills and techniques of top professional players, such as Coco Gauff and Ben Shelton. Treharne viewed this experience as a valuable learning opportunity, allowing her to gain insights that she can apply to her own game.Maintaining a Positive Outlook

She has expressed her enjoyment of the singles competition and her appreciation for the opportunity to compete against the best players in the county.
