Hailing from Wellington, Florida, Aguiar joins fellow recruit Valerija Kargina, who signed earlier this year. Known for her exceptional doubles expertise and impressive national rankings, Aguiar is set to enhance the Rams' competitive edge on the court.
Aguiar, recognized as a four-star prospect, boasts an extensive background in doubles competition. Her current full-time training at One Tennis Academy in Boca Raton underscores her dedication to mastering the sport. Ranked as high as 86th nationally in the recent evaluation by TennisRecruiting.net, she also achieved notable milestones with a WTA Doubles Ranking of 1506 and a Universal Tennis Rating of 9.01. Among her accomplishments are victories in prestigious tournaments such as the 2024 Bobby Curtis Doubles Championship and reaching the semifinals in singles at the ITF J4 Dayton Beach event.
With a stellar performance last season, the Fordham Rams concluded their campaign with a commendable 16-5 record. Their consistent success led them to the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship for the fourth consecutive year.
