In the heart of Jackson, Wyoming, a collaborative initiative between Teton County Library, Coombs Outdoors, and Teton Literacy Center aims to equip middle and high school students with essential life skills. This winter, these organizations have joined forces to present a four-part series designed specifically for teens in grades 6 to 12.

The inaugural event, titled "Skill Up! Teen Financial Literacy Night," will kick off on Thursday, January 16th, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Ordway Auditorium within Teton County Library. The evening will focus on providing young attendees with valuable insights into managing finances effectively. According to organizers, this session will delve into topics such as student loans and auto financing, offering practical advice that can help teenagers make informed financial decisions early in life.

Financial wellness is an indispensable skill that, when cultivated from a young age, can lead to lasting benefits. By fostering a deeper understanding of personal finance, this program not only prepares teens for future challenges but also promotes responsible habits that contribute positively to their overall well-being. Through interactive sessions and engaging activities, participants will gain confidence in handling money matters while enjoying complimentary refreshments and the chance to win exciting prizes.
