Yue Du: Pursuing Artistic Dreams with UNCG

Yue Du is deeply grateful to her mother for encouraging her to pursue her artistic dreams. It was a professor from her master's studies who introduced her to UNC Greensboro's School of Music, and she fell in love with the piano performance doctoral program. In Greensboro, she had the opportunity to enhance her undergraduate music studies in China and explore new types of music she had never heard before. Her appreciation for UNCG extends beyond the notes. When a personal tragedy struck, the university ensured that she had the time and space to focus on her family's needs without worrying about her future dreams.
