Cara Donatto, a seasoned music industry veteran based in Los Angeles, has now taken on the new position of executive vp of media strategy at Atlantic Music Group. Her previous tenure at Atlantic as senior vp of publicity has now led to this exciting reunion. This move not only brings her back to a familiar environment but also allows her to leverage her extensive knowledge and connections.During her earlier days at Atlantic, she worked closely with renowned artists such as Bruno Mars, Janelle Monáe, and Missy Elliott. Before joining Atlantic for the second time, Donatto served as executive vp, head of media strategy & communications at Interscope Geffen A&M since 2019. During her five years there, she oversaw media strategy for a roster that included Billie Eilish, Dr. Dre, GloRilla, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Reneé Rapp, and Olivia Rodrigo. She also supervised the company's Grammy and Oscar Awards strategy and campaigns, demonstrating her ability to handle high-profile events and initiatives.Before starting her first tenure with Atlantic, Donatto was director of media & artist relations at Island Def Jam Records. Before that, she served as manager of publicity for Vibe and Spin, further adding to her diverse skill set and industry experience.Donatto's excitement about returning to Atlantic is palpable.
