Capcom's High-End Merchandise for Resident Evil: Requiem

Capcom is poised to capitalize on the fervent fan base of its acclaimed "Resident Evil" franchise by unveiling a line of high-end collectibles. Following a recent showcase for the highly anticipated "Resident Evil: Requiem," which teased a nostalgic return to classic survival mechanics, the gaming giant also revealed an unexpected collaboration: a collection of luxury watches designed with Hamilton.

Luxury Timepieces Unveiled for "Resident Evil: Requiem"

In a surprising move, the Hamilton Watch Company has partnered with Capcom to create two exclusive timepieces, prominently featured on the wrists of the game's protagonists, Grace and Leon, in the latest trailers. These limited-edition watches, with only 2,000 units produced, come with a significant price tag: Grace's model is set at $1,475, while Leon's, a rugged all-black Khaki Field Auto Chrono with "bullet-inspired pushers" and a "wing detail honoring fallen comrades," commands $2,175. The more elegant "American Classic Pan Europ" worn by Grace features a "gold-accented strap, geometric case-back motifs, and a bold gold-and-black dial." Both watches are slated for release on the same day as the game, February 27, 2026. Capcom justifies these premium accessories by emphasizing that "time is a main character" in "Resident Evil Requiem," influencing tension, narrative, and player decisions.

This venture into high-priced memorabilia is not new for Capcom. The company has previously offered other luxury items, such as Leon's jacket from "Resident Evil 4 Remake" and Chris Redfield's coat from "Resident Evil Village," both retailing for around $1,500. This ongoing strategy underscores Capcom's understanding of a dedicated market willing to invest in exclusive, collectible merchandise that deepens their connection to the gaming universe.
