The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center FFA Chapter's Car Show is set to be a true automotive spectacle, drawing in car enthusiasts from near and far. Advisor Skie Shull, who has been instrumental in organizing the event, shares the chapter's excitement for this year's festivities. "After the success of last year's event, our chapter officers were eager to start planning an even bigger and better celebration," she explains. "The students have been working tirelessly to ensure that this year's car show will be a true showcase of automotive excellence."One of the key highlights of the car show will be the diverse array of vehicles on display. Blaise Tallman, a dedicated member of the FFA chapter, has been working closely with fellow officers to register and organize the various cars that will be part of the show. "We've been reaching out to car owners from the local community and beyond, and the response has been incredible," Tallman shares. "From classic muscle cars to sleek modern sports cars, we're expecting a truly impressive lineup that will delight and inspire our visitors."In addition to the stunning vehicles, the chapter has also planned a unique parking arrangement to enhance the overall experience. "We want to make sure that each car is showcased in the best possible way," Tallman explains. "Our team has been working hard to carefully plan the layout and placement of the vehicles, ensuring that visitors can easily navigate the show and appreciate the true beauty of these automotive masterpieces."Savoring the Flavors of the BBQ Competition
Alongside the car show, the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center FFA Chapter is also hosting a mouthwatering BBQ Competition, where local culinary enthusiasts will showcase their grilling prowess. "The BBQ competition is a new addition to our event this year, and we're thrilled to see the level of excitement it has generated," says Advisor Skie Shull.The competition will feature a variety of categories, allowing participants to showcase their skills in different styles of BBQ. "Whether it's ribs, brisket, or pulled pork, we're expecting some truly delectable dishes to be presented," Shull explains. "Our judges will have a tough time deciding on the winners, as we know the local community is home to some incredibly talented BBQ masters."To complement the BBQ competition, the chapter has also enlisted the help of the AC/GC cheerleaders, who will be offering face painting services to the attendees. "We wanted to create a truly festive atmosphere, and the cheerleaders' face painting activities will be a fun and engaging way for families to get involved," Shull adds.Bringing the Community Together
