Since 2017, the program has been operating in the CSRA (Central Savannah River Area), partnering with area housing authorities to identify families in need. Nine YMCA locations work together with dedicated teams of volunteers to coordinate the deliveries. This collaborative effort ensures that children across the region have a place to call their own.

The need for such a program became even more apparent after Hurricane Helene swept through the region on September 27.
