The North Florida women's tennis team dominated the third and final day of the Emily McNall Classic hosted by UNC Asheville on Sunday, September 15th. The Ospreys swept all six singles matches against Presbyterian, while also winning two of the three doubles matches against Wofford. Singles Dominance
The Ospreys showcased their individual prowess on the singles court, winning each match in straight sets. Laurie Barendse defeated Davis of Presbyterian 6-4, 6-2, while Aryana Bartlett bested Sanchez 6-3, 6-2. Nicole Solis Alfaro secured a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Rodrigo, and Jasmin Makela outmatched De Sousa 6-4, 6-4. Anslee Long triumphed over Dennett 6-3, 6-4, and Gabby Goyins rounded out the singles sweep with a 6-0, 7-3 (7-3) win over Longmire.Doubles Delight
In the doubles competition, the Ospreys continued their winning ways. The duo of Bartlett and Barendse defeated Agster and Brenna of Wofford 7-5, while Alfaro and Long secured a 6-1 victory over Woods and Sorensen, also of Wofford.
