Expanding Reach to Provide Disaster Relief

When Hurricane Helene carved a path through the southern and central regions of Georgia, Adventure Bags quickly shifted its focus to provide disaster relief efforts. They announced the transition from their Apalachee Comfort Bag Project to their Disaster Relief Efforts, dispatching 480 bags to children in the Augusta and Alma areas, and an additional 100 bags to the Waynesboro area. The organization is also awaiting word to potentially send more bags to the Jenkins and Screvens area, ensuring that no child is left behind in the aftermath of the devastating storm.
