Safavi's career boasts an impressive array of achievements, including a key role in shaping Danny Strong Productions' critically acclaimed Hulu series "Dopesick," which garnered 14 Emmy nominations in 2022. She also produced the Paramount+ docuseries "Mafia Spies" and facilitated the sale of "Becoming Houdini" to Walt Disney Studios. Her executive experience spans multiple prestigious positions, such as President of Production at Melissa Rosenberg’s Tall Girls Productions, EVP and Executive Producer at Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci’s KO Paper Products, and SVP of Development and Production at Sid Ganis’ Out of the Blue Entertainment.
Prior to these roles, Safavi contributed to notable productions like "Ender’s Game," "Locke & Key," "The Art of More," and the Emmy-winning "Transformers Prime." Her journey began at Lynda Obst Productions before moving to Mirage Enterprises under Sydney Pollack and Anthony Minghella. Meanwhile, Angela Kang is renowned for her work as showrunner on AMC’s "The Walking Dead" and executive producer on its spinoff "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon," as well as her writing credits on FX’s "Terriers."
