Vanderbilt's baseball team showcased their offensive prowess in a pair of seven-inning exhibition games against Nevada at the Las Vegas Ballpark on Sunday. The Commodores emerged victorious in both contests, scoring a combined 16 runs on 24 hits across the 14 innings of play.

Commodores Cruise to 6-4 Victory in Game 1

Vanderbilt's offense wasted no time getting started in the first game, as JD Rogers rocketed a home run and drove in a pair of runs to lead the Commodores to a 6-4 win. The right-handed slugger also doubled in the second game, demonstrating his versatility at the plate. Rustan Rigdon, batting from the right side, blasted a two-run homer in his first at-bat of the second game and followed it up with an RBI single from the left side in his next plate appearance, showcasing his impressive power and adaptability.
