Though she ultimately fell to Allison Romero from the University of New Mexico, Paterova's impressive run demonstrated her talent and potential, setting the stage for an exciting future with the Aggies.

Doubles Dominance and Singles Successes

The Aggies' performance was not limited to individual achievements, as the team showcased their prowess in both doubles and singles play. On Friday, the duo of senior Celio Tapia-Cruz and freshman Kylee Sperry secured an 8-3 victory in doubles, while Paterova recorded two straight-set singles wins. Sperry also posted a three-set singles win to advance to the quarterfinals, and Tapia-Cruz rallied back in her match to record a 5-7, 6-4, 16-14 victory.

The Aggies' momentum carried over to Saturday, where they won five of their eight matches. In doubles, junior Magdalena Nunez Pureco and Paterova teamed up for an 8-4 victory. In singles, Paterova, Nunez Pureco, and Tapia-Cruz all recorded straight-set wins. On Sunday, the Aggies concluded their tournament play with three more wins, including straight-set singles victories for Nunez Pureco and Sperry, as well as a 7-5 doubles win for Tapia-Cruz and Sperry.
