The University of North Florida's women’s tennis program is thrilled to announce two exciting summer camp opportunities for young athletes in partnership with Universal Tennis College and Wilson Tennis. These camps, scheduled for June and July 2025, will take place at the UNF Tennis Complex. Designed for junior players aged 7-18, these programs aim to enhance skills through comprehensive training regimens while fostering a fun and supportive environment.
In June, participants can choose from two sessions offered by Universal Tennis College. Running from June 9-13 and June 16-20, these camps feature daily schedules from 8:30 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday and conclude earlier on Friday. Highlights include personalized instruction from seasoned UNF coaches, structured gameplay, and matches contributing to UTR ratings. Additionally, campers receive exclusive gear and have chances to win prizes.
Shifting focus to July, Wilson Tennis offers dual sessions during the weeks of July 14-18 and July 21-25. Available as full-day or half-day options, pricing varies accordingly at $525 and $365 per week respectively. The curriculum emphasizes safety and individual attention via small group settings. Participants benefit from demonstrations using cutting-edge Wilson equipment alongside engaging raffles featuring top-tier prizes.
Aimed at nurturing talent across all skill levels, these initiatives promise an enriching experience blending education with recreation. By enrolling in either series, young athletes gain access not only to expert guidance but also tools essential for growth within competitive sports environments.
