He recounts the harrowing experience, saying, "Before I got down there, the people in the black car were making a left-hand turn coming off of San Joaquin (road) turning left onto Ajo (way). And boom! they got hit. By the time I got down to the scene, got out of the car, a couple of other people had gone over to the car, and it was already on fire. I had to pull back a couple of people, saying 'they're gone.'"
