Deeply moved by the experiences of other children who had to stay in the hospital, Gumino made a promise to himself – for every touchdown he scored, he would donate $100 to the hospital. This commitment has only grown stronger over the years, as Gumino has continued to raise thousands of dollars for various organizations through his touchdown-scoring efforts.
