Honoring TopLine's Marketing Excellence: A Trifecta of Prestigious Awards
TopLine Financial Credit Union, a leading member-owned financial institution in the Twin Cities, has been recognized for its exceptional marketing efforts by the prestigious Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC). The credit union was honored with three prestigious awards, showcasing its commitment to community engagement, financial education, and brand evolution.Elevating Community Engagement and Charitable Giving
TopLine's Winter Spirit Week Penny Wars competition was awarded the bronze in the Community Engagement category. This innovative initiative not only fostered a sense of friendly competition among employees but also had a charitable component, benefiting one of TopLine's non-profit partners. Teams vied to earn the most points by collecting pennies, with the added twist of being able to sabotage opponents by dropping silver coins in their jars. The credit union raised an impressive $1,940 in just one week, with the winning team selecting Avenues of Youth, an organization that provides emergency shelter, short-term housing, and supportive services for homeless youth, as the recipient of the donations.Empowering Financial Literacy for the Next Generation
In the Financial Education category, TopLine was awarded the silver for its financial education session with the Energy Careers Academy, the program's first-ever graduating class. The goal of this session was to equip adults with a comprehensive understanding of personal finance basics and help them develop healthy financial habits. This included establishing a financial services relationship, creating a budget, setting up routine savings for emergencies and retirement, using credit wisely, paying down debt, and planning for significant life events such as purchasing a first car or home, and securing their financial future.Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future: TopLine's Brand Evolution
TopLine's new Bloomington Branch, designed as a flagship location, earned the bronze award in the Rebrand/Brand Evolution category. The branch's architectural elements, such as the roof line and drive-up, pay homage to the credit union's heritage, with the "T" design representing the telephone pole and line that were integral to the founding of the credit union in 1935. The new branch also introduced a fresh tagline, "Connected, We All Do Better," which reflects TopLine's commitment to building lifelong relationships with its members, employees, and communities, while honoring its legacy as a financial cooperative.Celebrating a Commitment to Excellence
