Three teenagers from Kissimmee have found themselves in a legal bind after a series of disturbing events. This unexpected occurrence has left the local community in a state of shock.

Unprecedented Car-Breaking and Gun Shop Intrusion in St. Cloud

Car-Breaking Spree in St. Cloud

Early Thursday morning, the tranquility of St. Cloud was shattered as three teenagers from Kissimmee resorted to using a stolen Kia as a battering ram. They smashed through the front door of Signal Zero Supplies, a gun shop located on Commerce Center Drive. The sight of the damaged front door now covered by a board serves as a grim reminder of the chaos that unfolded. Abigail Rodriguez, who volunteers in the plaza, expressed her shock, saying, "I was shook. I was honestly very very shook that something like this would have happened specifically in this plaza here." The area is typically known for its quietness, with not much happening on a regular basis. But this incident changed that overnight.

Robert Serrano, who was in the plaza that Thursday night, wasn't surprised by the act. He said, "It’s not a great mystery to think that somebody would do that. Smash and grab a gun store just to steal weapons and potentially carry out more crimes." The very nature of a gun store makes such an incident all the more concerning.

Police Response and Arrest

Despite the initial chaos, both the St. Cloud Police and the shop confirmed that the store's weapons were secure. The teens didn't manage to get away with any firearms. However, their car got stuck during the escape, forcing them to flee on foot. They then tried to use a rideshare app to make a getaway. But the police were quick on their heels. They saw the teens get into the car, pulled it over, and arrested all three of them. Rodriguez expressed relief, stating, "I’m just glad that nobody was hurt in the process."

The St. Cloud Police are also investigating another incident where the teens tried something at another business off of Narcoossee and broke into multiple cars in the Summer Cove community. They are still working to determine the exact number of cars affected. They are urging people to report if they notice any damage or missing items by calling their non-emergency line at 407-891-6700.
