As he turns 70 and considers finding a "landing spot," Danson has some inspiring words. He said, "I want to keep working for as long as I physically can because I want to know what it's like to try to be funny at every age." He encourages older people to not slow down and to keep contributing. Both he and his wife Mary Steenburgen are in their 70s and continue to work. Danson jokes that they prefer "early bird" specials to late-night dates, but the most fun for them is the early mornings, sharing coffee and playing games."For us people, my age and older, you still have something to contribute hugely," he told People. "So get out there and keep going, and the way you engage life right up until the end is an inspiration to those younger people behind that are coming up and your children."
