Highly regarded Solamente Pizza has recently opened its brand new location at 8390 W. Sahara Ave., Suite 130, in close proximity to South Durango Drive. This comes after a significant event last summer when the shared Town Square space had to be closed due to a scandal involving several Uber Eats pages impersonating Solamente and other renowned Las Vegas restaurants, with orders being fulfilled through unassociated kitchens.
Expanded Pizzeria with Exceptional Pies
The new Solamente location is notably larger than the previous pizzeria. It provides ample space to send out its highly praised pies. These pies are crafted from dough that is fermented for days, resulting in a crust that achieves the perfect balance of softness, crispness, and chew. The airy bubbled blistered cornice adds to the overall appeal. The modern Neapolitan pies come in various styles, including classic Margherita, a Spicy Special with pepperoni, Calabrian chilis, mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, and hot honey. There's also an A.P.B. with prosciutto di Parma, arugula, mozzarella, burrata, and Pecorino Romano. Additionally, there are options like a Mushroom Arugula and a pizza take on cacio e pepe.Ethan Spiezer, who works full-time as a special education teacher, founded Solamente from the old Vegas Test Kitchen downtown. When the Test Kitchen closed in June 2023, Spiezer moved the pizzeria to the Town Square digs it shared with a vegan spot. Now, he and Solamente have their own pizzeria.
