A huge thank you to my mom, Coach Andrew, Coach Hector, Coach Kevin, Coach Gibby for being a part of this journey with me and thank you to Coach Clayton for making this possible. Go Falcons!"Kim's commitment to the Air Force Falcons is not the only military connection in his family. Furthermore, Kim's older brother, William Kim, committed to swim for the U.S. Military Academy during his freshman year in the fall of 2022, although he only competed with the team through December.

Showcasing Impressive Performances at Futures and CIF-SS Championships

Kim's impressive performances at the Futures Championship Sacramento LCM this summer have earned him a spot at next year's Future Championship. He swam four individual events, walking away with two new personal best times. His new personal best of 2:07.16 in the 200 fly and his 200 IM time of 2:11.27 both qualified him for the Future Championship. Additionally, his new best 100 fly time of 56.35 will allow him to compete in the Speedo Junior National Championships next summer. At the CIF-SS Division I Championship SCY this year, Kim showcased his versatility, finishing as a two-time finalist. He placed 5th in the 100 fly (49.12) and 6th in the 100 breast (55.90). Camden Swigart also secured 3rd place in the 400 IM, touching in a personal best time of 3:50.40.Kim's current times in the 100 fly, 200 fly, and 200 breast would rank him as the fastest on the Falcons' roster so far this season, making him a projected powerhouse for the team. He will be joining a talented group of versatile swimmers, including Keoni Li, Jonas Dark, Matthew Doty, and Dylan Ferguson, who will all be part of the Falcons' roster in the fall of 2025.As the swimming community celebrates these remarkable achievements, Fitter and Faster Swim Camps, the proud sponsor of SwimSwam's College Recruiting Channel, continues to play a pivotal role in supporting the dreams and aspirations of young athletes.
