Arrival by Helicopter: A Surprise for the Kids

Jolly Old Saint Nick chose a helicopter to land at Pageant Field, creating a spectacle that the kids will never forget. Nine-year-old JC was among those who were amazed by the sight. "It was amazing. It was beautiful. Beautiful," JC shared with WBZ NewsRadio. The sight of Santa Claus descending from the sky in a helicopter added a whole new dimension to the holiday spirit.

Jack and his younger cousins also showed up, and like many other children, they went crazy when Santa landed. "One of them was on my mom’s shoulders and she told me she could feel him shaking with excitement," Jack said. "So yeah, it just makes me really happy to know that they’re having a good time." This moment truly captured the essence of Christmas joy.

The Argument Over Excitement: Santa or the Helicopter

A few kids got into a heated argument over what was more exciting - Santa Claus or the helicopter. One youngster questioned, "Why the helicopter? It’s ugly. It’s not even Christmas-themed." But as seven-year-old Araya brought back the Christmas spirit, she answered WBZ NewsRadio's question about what she wanted this year. "Money to give to the homeless," Araya said. This response showed that the true spirit of Christmas lies in giving and helping others.

Even in the midst of the excitement and debate, the children's hearts were filled with the spirit of Christmas. Santa Claus' visit not only brought joy but also reminded them of the importance of kindness and generosity.
