In this Press Conference from Abu Dhabi, we delve into the thrilling top three Sprint Race finishes in FIA Formula 2. Let's explore the moments that led to these remarkable results.

Uncover the Intensity of FIA Formula 2 Sprint Races

Third Place: Paul Aron from Hitech Pulse Eight

Paul Aron, finishing in third place, shared his perspective. "It was a tough race for me. The top two guys were really flying. I had to manage my race as best as I could. Got a bit caught up in the start chaos but managed to avoid it and start making my way through the pack. I knew Gabriel was moving forward quickly after Lap two and I couldn't match that pace. But I saved my tyres and made my move when others started to drop. Congratulation to Pepe on his first win, it's great to see him finish on a high."

When asked about the start and the risks involved, he added, "In the start, you don't have time to think about risks. You just need to focus on managing the situation. There were some close incidents in Turn 6 and it cost me some time. But you can never control how these things turn out. The important thing is to come out of it as best as you can, and I think I did a solid job at the beginning."

Second Place: Gabirel Bortoleto from Invicta Racing

Gabirel Bortoleto, finishing in second place, was excited. "Starting from P9 and finishing P2 is great. We had good pace throughout the race, which makes me confident for tomorrow. I was just trying to avoid crashing in T1 when I saw a lot of smoke. I overtook when I could and everything went well. I'm happy with my performance and looking forward to the final race."

Regarding the championship lead, he said, "He started in front of me, so I expected a similar-paced race. But I'm very happy that we made something extra happen today. It's good to be leading the Championship going into the last race. Starting ahead gives me a positive outlook."

First Place: Josep María Martí from Campos Racing

Josep María Martí, taking the win, was ecstatic. "It feels amazing. It was one of the toughest races of the year. It was flat out the whole time and I had to be smart with my driving. The tyres were dropping too, but I managed to keep it together. Duerksen tried to defend but I was able to get alongside him. I'm really happy with this victory."

Speaking about the start from fourth to first, he explained, "I dropped the clutch and was instantly side by side with Duerksen. He couldn't do much. I was also alongside Cordeel and had to send it a bit on the entry. But it was enough to get to the front by T2. Gabriel was chasing me down but I knew if I kept driving my way, I was safe. I just kept my head down and did my best."
