Tabletop Gaming at Rodman Public Library

The Rodman Public Library's Tabletop Gaming event is a monthly affair that takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. This is a great opportunity for attendees to engage in some friendly competition with others while playing their beloved board games. The library's extensive collection of games, which can be borrowed with a valid RPL library card, is available for visitors to enjoy. Not only can they play the featured game of the month, but they can also bring along their own games. In January, the program will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. The aim of this program is to provide area residents with a chance to come together, have fun, and make new friends. Light snacks will be served, and no registration is needed. It is open to players of all ages, with children under 13 required to be accompanied by an adult.

Rodman Chess Club

For those with a passion for chess, Rodman Chess Club is the place to be. It runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. In December, the session will be on the 18th, and in January, it will be on the 15th. This club is open to patrons of all ages who have an interest in exploring the game of strategy. There is no formal membership required. Boards are set up in the Main Auditorium, allowing players to mingle and find opponents.
