Revving Up for a Thrilling Automotive Extravaganza

The Harlan Chapter of the Southern Brothers Motorcycle Club's Fall Bike and Car Show was a resounding success, captivating vehicle enthusiasts with a dazzling display of custom motorcycles and cars. The event, held on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, not only showcased the club's passion for the open road but also served as a platform to raise funds for their charitable initiatives.

Fueling Community Connections and Charitable Causes

A Showcase of Automotive Artistry

The Hardees and Family Dollar parking lot in Harlan transformed into a veritable automotive wonderland, as enthusiasts flocked to admire the stunning collection of custom motorcycles and cars on display. From sleek and aerodynamic sports cars to rugged and powerful motorcycles, the event offered a visual feast for the senses. Visitors took their time, not only marveling at the vehicles but also engaging in lively conversations with fellow enthusiasts, sharing stories and insights about their shared passion.

Driving Charitable Initiatives

The Bike and Car Show was more than just a celebration of automotive excellence; it was a means to support the Southern Brothers Motorcycle Club's charitable endeavors. Jaysin Stallard, the Treasurer of the Harlan Chapter, emphasized the importance of the event in funding the club's community-focused initiatives. "Everything went well," Stallard remarked. "Luckily, we were able to cover most of the cost of the shirts with sponsors, and the money we make at the show, we plan to give right back to the community."

Spreading Holiday Cheer with Toy Drives

The Southern Brothers' commitment to giving back extends beyond the Bike and Car Show. The club is gearing up for its annual Christmas toy drive, a tradition that has brought joy to countless local children. "In December, we're doing our toy drive," Stallard shared. "We really want to get out there and let people see us doing our thing so they'll know they can bring some toys for the toy drive. We're going to be doing that for the fourth year in a row, we usually give out over 700 gifts to local children."

Embracing the Halloween Spirit with Saddlebags of Snacks

The Southern Brothers are also introducing a new event this year, just in time for the spooky season. "We'd like to let the public know we're doing a new thing this year called Saddlebags of Snacks, it's our take on Trunk or Treat. We're going to do that on Oct. 27," Stallard announced. This exciting addition to the club's event calendar promises to bring a touch of Halloween magic to the community, further solidifying the Southern Brothers' commitment to engaging with their local supporters.

Rallying Community Support

As the Southern Brothers Motorcycle Club continues to make a positive impact through their events and charitable initiatives, Stallard extends a heartfelt invitation to the community. "Help support us, so we can help support you," he says, underscoring the symbiotic relationship between the club and the people they serve. With the Bike and Car Show, the Christmas toy drive, and the new Saddlebags of Snacks event, the Southern Brothers are poised to leave an indelible mark on the Harlan community, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and generosity that transcends the boundaries of automotive enthusiasm.
