It has been brought to light that certain prominent celebrities are contemplating leaving the United States in the wake of President Trump's reelection. President Trump is set to serve another four years, after which a new leader will take over. The position in the White House is not a permanent one.

Remember the Swing of Things

The pendulum of power constantly shifts. If Trump's tenure proves to be challenging over the next four years, there is a high likelihood that America will elect a Democrat. Elections are notoriously difficult to predict, as evidenced by the recent past. Many Americans, including myself, were misled into believing that Kamala Harris had a chance of winning. ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN were constantly lying to the American public about the poll numbers. It seemed that either Harris had a very small lead or that she and Trump were tied. However, Fox News consistently reported that Trump was in the lead, which made it seem as if they were fabricating the stats just like the others. On election day, it became clear that Fox News's sources must have been more reliable as Trump won by a significant margin. So, who can truly predict what the next four years will bring?

Don't Be Hasty

It is absurd that people would want to throw tantrums and leave the country. But if they do choose to leave, perhaps the door will hit them where it hurts on the way out. Go ahead and leave if you must. Do you really think the average American will care? These entertainers who want to pack up and leave have made their fortunes in the United States. They live extravagant lives. It seems to me that they are ungrateful and spoiled. Italy, France, and the United Kingdom are wonderful places, but it was the United States that elevated them to stardom and made them multi-millionaires.

Show Some Gratitude

Thanksgiving would be the perfect time for these Hollywood icons to pause and give thanks for America, the American people, and all that this country has done for them. This country is far from perfect, and leaders like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Donald Trump, and Elon Musk have their flaws, just like the rest of us. If we simply tuck our tails and run when leadership changes, how can we make an impact four years from now when it's time to change leadership again?The early pilgrims made great sacrifices and risked their lives for America. They came here in search of religious freedom and a better life. Their efforts paved the way for the United States to become the greatest country in the world.Every generation must pay a price. Our precious freedom and the opportunity to enjoy all that America has to offer are the result of the hard work of our forefathers and the lives lost on battlefields around the world. This allows us to sit at a table and give thanks to God and those who have given so much for us.I enjoy visiting other countries. There are indeed beautiful people around the world. However, there is no place like America. We have a lot of work to do, and our new leadership has a challenging road ahead. Let us pray for Donald Trump, the new leadership, this country, and each other.
