Student Donations: A Heartwarming Total
This year, the students of Margaret L. Hopkin Middle School came together with remarkable enthusiasm. In total, an astonishing 500 items were donated, and an impressive 622 pounds of food was delivered to the Grand County Food Bank just in time for the holidays. It was a sight to behold as these donations were gathered and prepared for those in need. The competition among school advisory classes to raise the most donations added an extra layer of excitement. Ms. LaBrec's seventh-grade Advisory brought in 141 donations, showing the younger students' commitment to making a difference. Meanwhile, Ms. Wilson's eighth-grade Advisory also contributed significantly with 124 donations. Both classes were rewarded with the delicious treat of Honey Buns and a refreshing glass of orange juice for breakfast, a small token of appreciation for their efforts.Volunteers: The Unsung Heroes
