The Monte Carlo Automobile (MCA) Centenaire project was spearheaded by Fulvio-Maria Ballabio, a former Formula 2 and CART driver, who assembled a formidable team. Technical director Carlo Chiti, renowned for his work with both Scuderia Ferrari and Autodelta, and ex-Alfa Romeo sporting director Pierluigi Corbari were instrumental in its creation.
