In Amarillo, Texas, a significant announcement was made on Wednesday by the Texas High School Coaches Association. This announcement pertained to the 2024 Team Tennis Super Teams, and it brought forth a remarkable selection of 14 athletes from each classification. Astonishingly, eight of these talented athletes hailed from the 806 area. Let's take a closer look at all the Panhandle recipients:

Player and School Details

Randall

Dax Betzen from Randall made his mark as one of the selected athletes. Alongside him, Kynley Craddock, Gabby Dishong, and Emmalee Sillivent also represented Randall. These girls showed exceptional talent on the tennis court.

The Randall Raiders, the Class 4A State Champions, had the most players selected from any Panhandle team. With four players making the cut, it was a remarkable feat for the school.

Canyon

Lauren Brooks and Samantha Melear from Canyon also received the honor. Their skills and dedication on the tennis court were recognized, adding to Canyon's reputation in tennis.

West Plains

Cooper Richardson from West Plains was the lone athlete selected from the boys side. His talent and hard work were acknowledged with this prestigious selection.

Hereford

Brandon Ysaguirre from Hereford was another standout. His addition to the list further highlighted the talent present in the Panhandle region.
